Founder & CEOAnqarapp
Anqarapp was my first start-up, focused on training teachers from all over Latin America so that they can teach their classes remotely during the pandemic quarantine.
Develop a multiplatform web system. Implementation of the LAMP stack on an Ubuntu server. Installation of an SSL certificate. Worked with a 5-layer architecture using AWS (Route53 with Load Balancers, EC2 with Elastic IP, RDS with MySQL, S3 with IAM authentication, and external APIs from Facebook, Vimeo, Google, and Instagram). Designed the platform using Adobe XD, implementing vectors that I made in Photoshop and Illustrator. Developed two versions of the system: the first one used PHP with Laravel 7 on the backend and React on the frontend. The second version implemented SASS as a CSS precompiler, Composer as a library manager, Voyager as a management platform, Laravel 8 on the backend, Livewire on the frontend. Also used AlpineJS and TailwindCSS. Implemented payment gateways such as Paypal and MercadoPago. Designed the advertising emails using CSS2 and DomPDF. A mobile version of the platform using React & React Native was also being developed.
The result was Anqarapp, a multiplatform cloud system that allowed thousands of teachers in more than 6 Latin American countries (Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic) to be trained in the use of digital tools to provide classes online. The platform was awarded by faculties of the National University Mayor de San Marcos due to its great contribution during times of crisis. Multiple interviews were conducted due to the good reception that the platform had.
